Overnight in a Historic Home

Sometimes choosing a location is half the battle. So, when in doubt, rent an Airbnb? Maybe even pick a private room in a house that has been placed on the market and will be hosting a yard sale the following morning? This was definitely a shoot for the books.

I really wish we could have had the opportunity to capture more of this home but, the owner demanded more money in return for photos of the space. Nevertheless, Allie Biess and I made the most out of the room we were given and I think we worked the space to its full potential. We invested more time in the production of this shoot together than we ever had in the past. It's always exciting collaborating and mixing ideas but, there was such an element of surprise to this shoot since the location was absolutely foreign to us. 

Due to more time spent planning this shoot, we were able to make a few contacts and incorporate products in the images. My continued interest in advertising causes me to pursue brands in an effort to work with them. It's rewarding to have others trust in your work and the vision that you have for their product.
